On Monday, my group and I filmed at playing fields, our final scene. We started by filming Oyinda walking down the long path i really like the lines and composition created by the trees and the path in the park.
We also filmed John appearing behind Oyinda, we did this by stopping recording as he got into the place we wanted on camera and we then pressed record so it looks like he appeared out of nowhere. when editing this we will speed it up so it is to the beat of the song.
We also filmed lip syncing and also a shot of Oyinda walking over the camera im not sure how well this will come out but im hoping it will look very good!
The lighting was quite bright compared to the rain weve had for the past month, so were hoping this will show on our film as we want it to be bright and colourful for our pop genre.
Here is a photo of when we decided to use Playing fields as our forth location, i think it looks really beautiful:
and here is a screen shot of it used in our music video:
Although the trees are bare i still think it is a really great location, we edited the colour of the clips in the playinf fields as we found them quite dull as the weather wasnt great the day of filmming, and we think it being bright looks much better and fits more with our pop genre and quirky video.

Inspiration:
This example of an as coursework media video that we found on youtube while researching, it has given us some ideas for some camera angles we want to try and recreate when we film our last scene.
Two minutes into the video, there is a camera angle where the girl in the video walks over the camera and then the camera follows her so the angle is the upside down once she has walked over the top of the camera.
We were thinking about how we would do this and what we have thought is if someone lays down on the floor holding the camera on one side and then doing a pan across as she walks over the top and the over to the other side.
However we would adapt it to fit with our video, so we would have the girl in our video skipping towards and over the camera to make it quite girly and quirky which fits with the representation we want to portray.
here is a picture of us trying out how we will create the camera angle:
and here is a screen shot of it being used in our music video:

Album title:
Recently we have had a group meeting as we have to make an album title and track list, we got together and tried to think of tracks which will link with the track we have already got 'knock em out' and also track names which sound quite quirky to relate to our artist's personality.
We have decided that as our album name we will use one of the names of the tracks we have made up, just becase most pop albums normally take the name of their album from one of their album tracks, and we wanted to follow this convention as we think this will make our digi pack more professional.
We have decided to call our album 'Not so pretty in pink' because we think it fits perfectly with the image of the album and the feminist feel of it and we want this message to be shown through every inch of the digi pack.

Another controversial video:
This new music video by Pink, the second artist we have been looking into for inspiration for ideas and creativity for our music video and digi pack, I've found the new video really touching and again standing up for women, in the respect that no one should ever feel demeaned by others or feel unimportant because everyone is perfect in their own ways, i think this is a very powerful video, for obvious reasons once you have watch it but I think it is defiantly going to be classed as controversial in the world of music just because it isn't showing glamour and perfection in an obvious way like other pop genre video's it probably wont be classed as 'correct' but i think it is a great video which make women feel good about themselves for who they are. In a media eye, i noticed the editing more than the narrative and i really like the way the clips inter merge with each other as they fade on and off the screen, id like to use an effect like this in our music video however I'm not sure if it would fit with our song as our song is very upbeat and quite fast in comparison to this song.
